Samsung Files patent for new Smart Ring

Samsung Files patent for a new Smart Ring aiming at remote control of the various smartphone, TV and home automation system directly from your finger. Samsung filed the patent with the US Patent & Trademark Office.

Mechanism includes smartphone recognizing the seat ring and displaying a menu as well as icons which the ring could control.

The Samsung filing patent clearly shows the motives to win over the lost market. Smartphones are getting outdated and there are ample amount of smartphones in the techvilla, which go toe to toe in terms of specifications. If Samsung launches this new device, then it can surely be fascinating head start to be turn into fashion just like smartwatches.

Well, Samsung isn’t the first to delve into smart rings, with the like of Apple, Microsoft and Google all are exploring the area in a series of patent filings. The possibilities of the ring that will control the market is still a mystery.

Even though filing a patent doesn’t mean they will be the first one to launch ,but it is a sure indication they aiming big to score a home run and running the top game.

It would be fun to watch if Smartwatch, Smartphones and SmartRing all are synced together. That dim light on the finger would be insane. We hope to see this gadget in the market soon.

Airbnb will open its Cuba listings to users outside the United States

Airbnb will now let travelers from outside the U.S. to book properties in Cuba after receiving authorization from the U.S. government, reports the Associated Press . Previously, only Americans were allowed to reserve the site’s Cuban listings . They will open to international users on April 2. Airbnb launched its Cuban operations in April 2014 , four months after the Obama administration revealed that it will begin to restore diplomatic relations with the Communist country .
