Prime Apple Watch Battery Strap Provides Extra Juice For Your Wearable

A new Apple Watch battery strap has been launched over Kickstarter this week with the aim of raising $30,000 to help it go into production. The Prime battery strap has been specifically designed for the AppleWatch and includes two removable battery packs that can help extend the juice that is available for your Apple wearable.

The Apple Wtach battery strap has been designed by Brilletark and brings uninterrupted usage and extends longevity, say its creators. Watch the video below to more about this new Apple Watch accessory for those that find their Watch just doesn’t have enough juice to see them through the day.

PRIME is a power-charging Apple Watch band that embeds reserved batteries in the strap to keep the watch fully charged all the time. Charge from the strap, and swap batteries to keep the watch alive. Whenever, wherever. Always fulfilled and always in composure, you know how annoying it is, when your apple watch is out of battery?

As teardown specialists revealed the original use of 6 pin port for charging and data transferring, PRIME makes the most efficient use of this portal. PRIME has developed charging technique to inject power from reserved batteries via 6 pin port, transforming the strap into a wearable power bank.

The Prime project is currently over on the Kickstarter crowd funding website looking to raise enough pledges to make the jump from concept to production.

Facebook will verify the location of U.S. election ad buyers by mailing them postcards

Facebook’s global director of policy programs says it will start sending postcards by snail mail to verify buyers of ads related to United States elections. Katie Harbath, who described the plan at a conference held by the National Association of Secretaries of State this weekend, didn’t reveal when the program will start, but told Reuters that it would be before the Congressional midterm elections in November. The cards will be sent to people who want to purchase ads that mention candidates running for federal offices, but not issue-based political ads, Harbath said, and contain a code that buyers need to enter to verify that they are in the U.S. The program is similar to ones used by Google My Business and Nextdoor when they need to verify business owners or users who want to join closed neighborhood groups, respectively.
